Privacy Policy

SipRanker is a private group tasting scorecard. We process participant names, event membership, ratings, notes, uploaded photos, optional contact details, browser identifiers, and SMS consent records to operate events, sync data, and deliver requested access links.

Who can see information

Event participants can see the group roster and tasting activity. Contact details entered into the existing organizer roster are visible to the event group. SMS preferences submitted through the preferences form are restricted to the participant and organizer. Firebase provides authentication, database and photo storage; DreamHost hosts the website; Twilio processes SMS delivery when enabled. Google Analytics may collect usage and device information.

Mobile information

Message frequency varies with link requests. Message and data rates may apply. Public SMS enrollment records are stored privately for your browser identity and service administration; they are not shared with event participants.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers necessary to operate the messaging service. We do not sell personal information or SMS consent.

Your choices

SMS is optional. Withdraw permission through SMS preferences, reply STOP to the sending number when messaging is active, or contact your event organizer. For help, access, correction or deletion requests, contact the organizer who provided your event link. Event records remain until removed by the organizer; consent and delivery records may be retained to document messaging permission and honor opt-outs. Browser storage may retain offline copies until cleared.

Keep personal links private: possession of a link grants access to that participant’s event account. SipRanker is intended for adults aged 21 and older.
